Lexus has released the sixth year of production for their fastest sedan, the 2026 Lexus IS. This new edition looks racier than it is. But what it lacks in speed and sportiness, it makes up for with a supple ride and a premium interior. All models come with a 311-hp V-6 engine, and you can choose either rear- or all-wheel drive.

Lexus has decided to extend the life of the new IS with a third facelift, and pricing for the Nigerian market is now available at 70,000,000 Naira for the 2026 IS. The line-up includes two main trims: F Sport Design and F Sport, both exclusively as the IS 350 model, featuring a refreshed exterior, larger screens, and standard Lexus Safety System+ 3.0, with the F Sport offering performance enhancements. The full F Sport trim may be somewhat pricey for RWD or AWD versions. This Lexus IS has been around since 2013, but to be fair, this update is significant, even though it is now only available with a V6.
Under the hood, no longer will there be a V8; instead, you can choose only the IS 350 in Nigeria. It carries on with a n/a 3.5L V6 making 314HP and 280 lb-ft of torque to the rear or all four wheels. AWD gets a 6-speed, RWD gets an 8-speed.

Lexus fitted a new steering rack and a revised suspension system. The inside received a big overhaul, something you’ll all wish was done to the last facelift. Here we have a new dash, new door panels, a digital cockpit with all-new 12.3-inch screens, a touch screen infotainment too, new climate controls, ambient lighting, and the extensive new Lexus Safety System + with even hands-free highway driving.
