The V6 option is no longer available. The fifth generation 4Runner shares a TNGA-F platform with the new <a href=\"http:\/\/carlots.ng\/motoring\/toyota-for-sale\/model\/tacoma\">Tacoma<\/a>, but unlike the <a href=\"http:\/\/carlots.ng\/motoring\/toyota-for-sale\/model\/land-cruiser\">Land Cruiser<\/a>, it offers a third row, a roll-down rear window, and a more modern look inside and out. The wheelbase of the 4Runner is almost 20 inches shorter than the Tacoma at 112.2 inches.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/carlots.ng\/motoring\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/2025-Toyota-4Runner-side-view.jpg\" alt=\"2025 Toyota 4Runner side view\" class=\"wp-image-73980\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">2025 Toyota 4Runner side view<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>The i-Force MAX powertrain is the top-of-the-line option, which uses a 2.4L Turbo 4 engine combined with a hybrid system to produce an impressive 326HP and 465 lb-ft of torque. This powertrain can be paired with a part-time or full-time 4&#215;4 system with a 2-speed transfer case.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/carlots.ng\/motoringwp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/2025-Toyota-4Runner-1.jpg\" alt=\"2025 Toyota 4Runner\" class=\"wp-image-73981\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">2025 Toyota 4Runner<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>The standard powertrain is the powerful i-FORCE 2.4L Turbo 4-cylinder engine that produces 278HP and 317 lb-ft of torque. It is available in RWD or full-time 4&#215;4 with a 2-speed transfer case and can tow up to 6,000 lbs.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/carlots.ng\/motoring\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/2025-Toyota-4Runner.jpg\" alt=\"2025 Toyota 4Runner\" class=\"wp-image-73982\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">2025 Toyota 4Runner<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Aside from the Limited, Trailhunter, and <a href=\"http:\/\/carlots.ng\/motoringtopics\/toyota-4runner\/\">TRD Pro trims<\/a>, there will still be an SR5 trim, TRD Sport, Sport Premium, Limited, TRD Pro, TRD Off-Road, Off-Road Premium, Trailhunter, and Platinum.
