    There are plenty of issues that can cause the check engine light to illuminate, but a common problem on the Toyota Corolla is this light comes on in response to problems with the evaporative emission (EVAP) system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    This can be an incredibly frustrating issue for drivers as EVAP problems are frequently difficult<\/a> for technicians to diagnose. RepairPal states two of the most common issues are loose or worn gas caps and failed charcoal canisters. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
