It’s no more news that Tiubu led the administration in transportation reduction for travellers from the month of December to January 4, 2024, this was disclosed by Mr Dele Alake, who chairs the Inter-Ministerial Committee on Presidential Intervention, announced that there will be a fare subsidy for luxury buses. This was disclosed when he briefed State House correspondents at the Aso Rock Villa in Abuja.
The subsidy will be implemented by the National Union of Road Transport Workers, with a 50% reduction in fares. Alake explained that the reduction was agreed upon with the companies that operate luxury buses. The subsidy is set to start on Thursday 21st of December 2023.
